Engineering Manager - Java/J2EE Technologies (6-12 yrs) (Snaphunt Pte Ltd)

Our client is an eCommerce startup that has recently raised a seed funding and is hiring dynamic professionals ready to come together as a team to create winning products.

The Job

You will be responsible for :

- Architecting, designing and developing robust, reliable and scalable systems.

- Building and managing a team of 10-12 talented engineering professionals.

- Working closely with teams like product and business development to build best-in-class products and features.

- Monitoring code optimization and if required getting your hands dirty.

- Exploring latest technologies and establishing a culture of following industry best practices.

The Profile: 

- You possess a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and have at least 6 years experience within a Software Engineer role. 

- You have solid understanding of Java/J2EE, multithreading and you have hands-on experience working with transactional and NoSQL databases. 

- Proven knowledge of messaging systems along with a fair understanding of cloud infrastructure is required. 

- You can build and lead a team of at least 10 engineers and mentor them towards forming a strong engineering team.
