Description :
We are seeking a highly-skilled IT Technical/Solution Architect to lead our development team in creating the best class healthcare product. The person will be responsible for communicating with product owners to determine the requirements, creating comprehensive technical solutions and plans, and leading a team of software engineers to design and develop the product features. He/She will own the complete technical architecture and design of the product and its roadmap and is expected to provide an end to end solution including security, performance, scalability, infrastructure etc.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Own the technology practice and the product architecture and will also be responsible for getting it reviewed, and making sure the system is built accordingly
- Analyze Technology environment, enterprise specifics, analyze requirements from a technology feasibility perspective
- Design and Implement IT architecture, infrastructure, and cloud development
- Engineering and software architecture design, responsible for DevOps
- Actively participate in development along with team members for as much as 50% of the time, creating modules & systems that can then be treated as a working reflection of the best practices.
- Participating in code reviews, design reviews architecture discussions.
- Being responsible for Scaling, Performance & Quality for the team.
- Setting up best practices to help the team achieve the above and continuously thinking about improving the technology use.
- Driving the adoption of these best practices around coding, design, quality, performance in your team, and influence them for the entire organization are also expectations from you.
- Experiment with new & relevant technologies and tools, and drive adoption while measuring yourself on the impact you can create
- Collaborate with Product Management and Product Development leaders in developing product visions and strategies.
- Define & drive implementation of long-term technology vision for your product & team
- Be an evangelist for technology & represent the company in external forums.
- Creating architectures & designs for new solutions around existing and new problem spaces
- Drive technology & tool choices for your team & be responsible for them.
Experience/skills & Qualifications required :
- 10 to 15 years of experience in Information Technology with at least 7+ years in providing the technical solution at an application/product level
- Principal / System Architect handling Java, J2ee, and Web 3.0 resources.
- Extensive experience with developing applications using MEAN Stack - Javascript technologies like React JS, Angular JS, Node JS
- Extensive experience in guiding the team on Mobile Application development
- Familiarity with HL7 messaging standard (version 2.x and CDA) & IHE profiles (PIX, PDQ, & XCPD)
- Rich expertise in designing and implementing Cloud (AWS) based architecture
- In-depth knowledge and experience in implementing the application security-related aspects and usage of related tools
- Very strong in delivering product using DevOps processes and tools like Kubernetes, GitHub, Jenkins, Hudson, etc
- Database expertise including MySQL, Postgress, MongoDB
- Delivery of high-quality software using tools like Sonar, PMD, Checkstyle, Findbugs, and Fortify, etc.
- The ability of develop scalable and high performing products using the relevant design principles and tools.
- Very strong delivering and managing enterprise applications and products with medium to large teams in Java/Web 3.0 technologies.
- Very strong in all Enterprise Java frameworks and hands-on exposure in (J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JMS, Web services, JavaScript libraries, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery)
- Brings Industry and Domain Best Practices and Methodologies in Master Data Management,
Other Generic and Behavioural Skills :
- Experience in Healthcare domain and HIPAA compliance awareness would be a big plus
- Technical Breadth - Exposure to a wide variety of problem spaces, technologies.
- Very Strong System design and OO skills with a nifty ability to craft clean interfaces and operate at the right levels of abstraction.
- Experience using estimation techniques like (Usecase, FP, Story points)
- Should be adaptive to a dynamic and agile environment
- Should be a strong team player, should be able to collaborate with team members while working remotely too
- Should be able to drive innovative solutions and promote and teach innovation culture
- Excellent communication skills. It should be able to influence and negotiate
- Strong project management experience, handling multiple projects with Agile Scrum/Kanban.
- Quick & Excellent problem-solving skills for complex & large scale problems
- Extensive experience in leadership, risk, conflict, and vendor management.
- Experience handling multiple Senior Software Developers.
- Experience in making product presentations for vendors and internal teams
