Experienced Technologist required to lead Transfer agency technology team to deliver the migration of the EMEA Transfer Agency business from the existing software solutions to the new platform while managing the BAU application.

The GFS EMEA Transfer Agency (TA) product is a key component of the Fund Services bundled service - a credible TA product offering is integral to attracting / retaining FS business, particularly as the scope of transfer agent services has expanded from transaction processing to Distribution support. The products are used globally, across numerous technologies and platforms.

Working with technology architects to design and implement solutions aligned to the strategic platform.

- Documenting and communicating design to all stakeholders

- Excellent communication and co-ordination skills to work with different teams.

- Coding systems adhering to departmental quality rules.

- Documenting Design, Testing Strategy, Testing, Runbooks

- Promoting technology change and advancement

- Mentoring staff

- Third line production application support

- Work with senior technologist to define technology standards

- Delivery quality systems on time and on scope

- Adherence to all audit guidelines for application development.

Desirables :

- Strong Core Java and Java framework knowledge

- Strong UI skills required JS framework like Reactjs.

- Strong SQL Skills.

- Strong Design background.

- Experience of the following technologies; Oracle, Java, J2EE and XML

- Experience of the following platforms Linux.

- Knowledge of application integration pattern and techniques.

- Proven track record in delivering medium / large scale application within a complex environment.

- Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously with minimal management supervision.
