Principal Software Engineer - Distributed Systems/Java/AWS (7-14 yrs) (Squareroot India)

We are a Leading Fin-tech product technology company. Having Core Product and Research division in Mumbai, India.

We are looking for a Principal software Engineer who can join our Core Product development and Research team in Mumbai, India.

Position : SSE/Principal Engineer

Experience : 7 to 14 yrs

Location : Mumbai, India

Preferably someone who can join us immediately or on short notice within 15 days.

Job Description :

- Having a minimum of 6+ years of core software product development experience.

- Have been part of the core product development team and have built an awesome cloud based SaaS product(s).

- Have owned one or more functional modules/product and are responsible from the product specification to deployment of these modules.

- Have ability to manage and drive the feature roadmap for modules that they own.

- Have hands-on experience in setting up, configuring and tuning - Apache, Tomcat & MySQL.

- Well-versed in agile development methodology.

Primary Skill Required :

- 6+ years of core product development experience

- A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, multi-threading & concurrency etc.

- 4-5 years of experience in Object oriented Java programming & with its frameworks spring, hibernate.

- Good experience of SOA/Microservices/Restful services and development of N-tier J2EE applications.

- Strong experience in building microservices using technologies like Spring Boot(preferred), Spring Cloud, Netflix OSS, Zuul.

- Should be very critical of code written by self and others and aspires to achieve highest quality standards.
