Job Description:
- Responsible for setting up the Kubernetes environment in AWS/GCP/Azure
- Setup the CI/CD pipeline for various customers
- Understand the SAS Viya architecture and deploy the same leveraging Dockers and Kubernetes
- Develop automation scripts for managing and monitoring the environments
- Engage with customers to resolve any platform-related issues
- Contribute to internal initiatives to build IP that can be leveraged in customer engagements
- Support in scoping and estimation
Skills Required:
- Strong Java/J2EE with good knowledge of Collection, Exception Handling and Multi-Threading.
- Expertise in REST Services using JAX-RS/Jersey
- Strong experience on DevOps essential tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Docker Container, Kubernetes, GIT, Hudson, Jenkins, Ant
- Experience maintaining CI environments with build automation tools like Jenkins, TFS, VSTS
- Experience working in cloud environment AWS / Azure /Google. Google Cloud Platform is a plus
- Good knowledge in creating Junit Test cases using Mockito and Power Mockito Frameworks.
- Knowledge working with Glassfish/Payara environment, configurations etc.,
- Good SQL expertise in MySQL/Oracle/SQL Server database, SQL Queries, Stored procedures
- Good knowledge in working with Linux / UNIX environments.
- Expertise in scripting shell/awk/perl/python is a plus
- Experienced with principles and best practices of Agile, scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Have over 9 - 13 years of work experience.
