Tech Lead Java (6-14 yrs) (Disha HR Services)

Currently we have an excellent Opening with a leading US BASED TOPNOTCH MNC having expertise in Java, J2EE, jsp, servlet, spring, hibernate etc

Client's Details : A Leading UK based MNC based at Navi Mumbai

Responsibilities:

- Take a strong hands-on role to lead development of Java / J2EE solutions based on User Stories and Technical Requirement.

- Manage team of Developers for development of new and existing applications. Cultivate a culture of high energy and technical excellence.

- Take product ownership and responsibility for quality, ensuring process and quality adherence through peer / code reviews and unit test results.

- Coordinate with onshore / onsite mobile technology lead throughout the SDLC process from technical design specs, development, unit testing, bug fix, performance testing and integration testing.

- Distribution of work to members as per schedules, guiding team for technical challenges, tracking and reporting progress.

Desired Profile and Technical Skills:

- Hands-on professional with 7+ years of total software development experience including excellent knowledge of Java / J2EE.

- Experience with API Design, RESTFUL web services.

- Hands-on professional with 5+ years of total software development experience including excellent knowledge of Java / J2EE.

- Expert in Java / J2EE technology stack – Java, Spring, Hibernate, Jax-WS, REST, JMS, RabbitMQ

- Exposure to the Play! Framework is a plus

- Understanding of at least one UI frameworks like JQuery. Familiarity with MVC framework like Play or Spring. Ability to design prototypes using CSS, HTML, Javascript.

- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design including EAI design patterns, domain driven design, and their applicability.

- Well versed with Agile / Scrum development processes & environment. Exposure to best practices like Refactoring, Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration.

- Exposure to tools like JIRA, Jenkins and Crucible will be an advantage.

- Experience with source code management techniques using SVN or Git will be an advantage.

- Experience with automated testing will be an advantage.

Knowledge of Unix / Linux. Exposure and contribution to open source projects will be a big plus.
