Application Support Engineer - Linux/Unix Systems (3-10 yrs) (Progressive Infovision Pvt. Ltd)

- Application Support Engineer of various domains using SQL, Oracle12c,IBM WAS, IBM HTTP, Apache tomcat servers

- Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, packages, etc.

- knowledge of Basic Linux, UNIX, Windows OS

- Daily generate MIS report using SQL queries.

- Providing support for online banking applications.

- Perform DDL operation as and when required.

- Insert the bulk data into table

- Investigate issues by understanding application logs

- Ability to work in shifts

- Identify production and non-production application issues and ability to resolve the same within defined TAT

- Provide technical support and consultation for Java application and infrastructure queries

- Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of Java developed projects

Must Have Skills:

- Java, J2EE, Sybase

- Strong Analytical Skills

- Strong Communication Skills

- Flexibility to work on On-Call Production issues & late shifts.

- Oracle
