Job Description Java Developer

As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for creation and implementation of backend services (API / microservice).

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Designing and developing performant REST APIs / Microservices. Data Model design.

2. Participating in requirements analysis. Writing clean, scalable code and implementing unit tests.

3. Participating in peer code reviews.

4. Optimizing the overall performance of application.

5. Strong focus on data governance and security.

6. Be a strong Agile team member.

Skills :

1. Hands on experience with technologies like Java/J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, Spring Boot, Java Web services/APIs (SOAP, REST, JSON, Maven, jUnit)

2. Excellent understanding of data structures and threading.

3. Conceptually strong in Design Patterns and OOP.

4. Working knowledge with any of the Unit Test Frameworks such as jUnit.

5. Good problem solving skills.

6. Attention to detail.

7. Should be a quick learner and keen on learning new technologies.

8. Strong in debugging, troubleshooting and performance tuning for SQL queries.

9. Proficient in RDBMS (MySQL, MS SQL) and NoSQL databases (Mongo, Hbase)

10. Knowledgeable on TDD and BDD.

11. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
