About the Role : Java/ J2EE Engineering Lead will be responsible for Technical ownership of an entire product design development from scratch, which extends to :
- Mandatory : 6+yrs. 6 -13 yrs experience in Java, J2EE and associated technologies (Spring, Hibernate, restful, Web Services, Micro Services, Spring boot).
- Should be able to build solution which is easily configurable, deploy able and secure in SaaS environment.
- Must have worked on spring or spring boot.
- Strong hands on development experience in Java, J2EE.
- Hands on experience in data structure/ algorithms will be mandatory.
- Relevant experience in design patterns will be good to have.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of 2-3 developers.
- Should be able to identify, track and mitigate risks to the product
- Responsible for planning product iterations & releasing iterations on schedule.
What should you have :
- Product development experience in agile environment will be a big plus though not mandatory.
- Highly Tech Savvy and hands-on.
- Strong evidence of a solution/product created ground up.
- Education Qualification : Graduate
a) Technical Skills : Core Java, Advanced Java, J2EE, data structures, algorithms, Exception handling, Collections, OOPS, design patterns, etc.
b) Product Development :
- Has in-depth knowledge of technology and end to end development processes.
- Has the ability to recommend new processes/alternatives to meet Product development requirements and rolling them out.
c) Leadership Abilities :
- Should be able to optimize & effectively manage resources and time of the team members.
- Should be able to identify, track and mitigate risks to the product
- Should not hesitate to carry out healthy and constructive confrontation with team members, peers and managers for the benefit of Product.
- Should have handled a team of 10 developers
d) Team mentoring :
- Mentor developers for difficult tasks & provide technical advice and guidance to the Tech Leads.
- Guide the team is doing POCs and early risk assessments.
- Should have direct reportees.

Requirements :
- The Applicant with a total experience of 6-13 years, should have hands-on development experience in Core Java and J2EE with proven expertise in writing application architecture and core design ground up with sound algorithmic thought process enabling bullet-proof application performance in terms of key drivers like security, load, scalability, etc.
Skills and Technologies :
- Versatile experience with delivering highly available services on multiple technology stacks in traditional data centers, public clouds, and private clouds.
- Java, Data structure/algorithms, collections, Spring, Hibernate, Web-Services, restful, Design Patterns.
- Nice to have : Any new cutting edge technology (Java, Microservices, Angular, react.js or node,js fullstack exposure or Nosql db, mongodb, cassandra, Neo4j, dynamodb or Apache, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ELK stack (elastic search, logstash, kibana), redis, solr, etc.)
