Engineering Manager/Senior Engineering Manager - Java/J2EE Technologies (12-14 yrs) (Reward360)

Reward360 is looking for a dynamic and seasoned Engineering Manager for its platform team.

Mandatory skills :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE technologies.

- 3+ years of experience in designing large cloud-based platforms.

- Excellent in data structure and algorithms.

- Comfortable learning new tools and technologies.

- Good problem solving and analytical skills.

- Should be hands-on with programming and learning new tools.

- Good experience with microservices and understanding of micro-frontends.

- Hands-on experience with Linux as an operating system.

Technical Skills :

- Advanced Java skills.

- Frameworks - Hibernate, Spring, REST Jersey.

- Front end technologies - Java Script, jQuery, Angular JS.

- Database - MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.

- Experience with caching (Redis, MemCache) and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)

- Modelling - UML & ERD.

- Experience with search engines (Lucene) and ELK stack.

- Understanding and experience with docker.

- Experience with map-reduce programming will be a plus.

Responsibility :

- Responsible for managing 8-10 members engineering team.

 - Responsible for technical delivery and managing customer end to end.

- Code & design review for critical changes in the system.

- Troubleshoot critical issues and guide the team.

- Responsible for customer satisfaction and growth of the customers.

- Ability to hire, develop, and retain high performers.

- A candidate with experience in developing B2C products will be preferred.
