Java Developer - J2EE/Spring Boot (3-8 yrs) (AB2 consulting)

AB2 Consulting, Inc. is looking for a Java Developer with Spring Boot experience to create micro service for a collaboration portal. The selected candidate will be developing a REST based service to support a mobile first application using angular and ionic framework which will be working in ios, android and desktop. Will work in conjunction with front-end and database developers to design and deliver the solution.

Responsibilities :

- Research technologies and best practices for micro service implementation and data visualization in new and existing applications.

- Write and review functional designs with product management, architecture, QA, documentation, and release.

- Code robust long-lived solutions, debug complex processes, configurations, and infrastructures for support applications.

- Troubleshoot bugs, performance issues, security issues and answer implementation questions from customers and the product teams.

- The work is a mixture of new development and maintenance. Your focus will be on back end development and building RESTful service.

Qualifications :

- At least 5 years of IT experience in developing Java, J2EE application

- Experience in Spring boot, Spring cloud, JPA, Spring Security etc

- Experience in Jenkins & Maven

- Experience in building REST web services (consuming or creating

- Experience in writing APIs with ability to write clear, consistent, simple to use interfaces

- Working knowledge of creating data ingestion architectures including streaming and batch processing

- Working knowledge of SQL based solutions

- Working knowledge of writing good coverage unit testing

- Understanding of security using SSL protocols and data encryption

- Familiarity with containerized platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes

- Familiar with entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and CI/CD process.
