Senior Quality Assurance Automation Developer - Java/J2EE (3-8 yrs) (Smarten Spaces)

Job Description :

- We are looking candidates with positive attitude to work, analytical, results-driven Automation QA Developer who will work with the team members to design, develop and execution test automation scripts. Analyze test results.

- You will use his/her understanding of programming languages, testing methodologies and tools to interpret and convert manual tests into automation scripts

- Design, analyze, develop, document, test and troubleshoot application logic to solve business problems for one or more business / functional areas.

- Sound knowledge on Unit Testing, Smoke Testing, Functional/system integration testing and Performance Testing

- To succeed as Automation QA Developer, you should be focused on building a better, more effective test plans/cases, follow best practices on testing methodologies and practices and assist in increasing the overall quality of the Product.

- Assist in troubleshooting of the issues as needed working with the developer.

- You're eager to learn new technologies and you love working in a dynamic environment while solving customer problems with creative solutions.

- You should have excellent communication, computer and project management skills.

- You should be knowledgeable, collaborative, and motivated.

Job Requirements :

Skills / Competencies :

- Must have hands-on working experience on Java/J2EE, Application server, Spring MVC and Spring boot framework.

- Should have deep knowledge and working experience on Testing methodologies and Quality best practices

- Should have good understanding of Multithreading, Web services, Connection Pool, Java scripts, Database Concepts including Persistence, Query Optimization and Performance.

- Must have working knowledge on databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Timescale DB, MySQL etc

- Should have working experience with Unit Testing frameworks, Code Coverage

- Should have worked on Test Developments frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber etc

- Should have worked on performance testing tools such as Apache jMeter and other similar tools.

- Should be flexible to take up manual testing activities as required by the organization

- Nice to have prior work experience with testing Mobile apps (on Android and iOS) and cross browser testing for Web Apps.

- Should have good understanding Web Application Security testing tools such as Burp Suite and others

- Should have working knowledge using

- Operating Systems: Flavors of Linux / windows

- Code Repositories: Git, Bitbucket

- Web servers: Apache, Nginx etc

- Search technologies: Apache Lucene, Solr, Elastic Search

- Familiarity with technologies like Jquery, ReactJS, Bootstrap etc

Softskills :

- Good attitude toward work, Strong problem solving, verbal and written communication skills

- Desire to work in fast paced environment along with project and time management skills
