Televisory - Senior Software Engineer - Liferay Development - Java/J2EE Technologies (4-6 yrs) (Televisory (India) Pvt. Ltd.)

Job Requirements :

1. The candidate must possess at least 4 years of strong technology background with excellent hands-on knowledge of Java / J2EE technologies with Liferay 6.2 and above

2. Experience with open source technologies, knowledge of core JAVA EE patterns, Web Services Design / Development experience Object to Relational Persistence (Hibernate, JPA)

3. Good understanding of web portal technology (architecture, development, deployment). Strong Liferay development experience (hooks, themes, portlets, extensions, SSO, Roles Permissions, IPC, I18N)

Qualification : BE- IT/B.Tech/ME/MCA

Role : Implement best practices and standards w.r.t Liferay development

Other Required Skills :

1. Liferay 6.2+ (Enterprise Edition & Community Edition)

2. J2EE Spring MVC/ Spring Boot

3. Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases (MySQL 5.7+), SQL and ORM technologies (JPA, Hibernate).

4. Strong core Java skills (Exceptions, Collections, Threads, Serialization, Generics)

5. Strong experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks and related concepts like MVC, JPA, IoC, AOP

6. Strong experience in JUnit and familiarity with Test Driven Design

7. Familiarity with web services (SOAP, REST)

8. Familiarity with CSS, JavaScript, Jquery, Ajax, Apache Velocity, XML, Apache HTTP, CDN

9. Experience troubleshooting Liferay deployment issues

10. Experience with CI-CD tools: Gitlab, Jenkins, Rational Tool, Ant/Maven/Gradle, Log4J
