Performance Engineer - Java/J2EE (13-17 yrs) (Multirecruit)

Lead and successfully deliver new/complex projects (either directly or along with a team with a self-billing target of 50%)

- Stakeholders & Expectations management

- Develops insights from internal and external sources and takes risks to implement leading-edge solutions

- Ensure successful account entry and downstream business with new customers

- Create downstream business opportunities in each account

Lead and Scale a Technology Practice :

- Responsible for P&L

Skills & Experience :

- Key Technical Skills: Java/J2EE and Performance Engineering

- Experienced in defining and realizing end-to-end Technical Architecture for large scale real-time enterprise systems. Ability to identify and define non-functional requirements and design systems to meet the same.

- Ability to review existing Architectures and identify Risks, Trade-offs, and share recommendations for addressing the identified issues.

- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in Java/ JEE technologies like Struts/JSF, Spring, EJB, JMS, etc. Experience of only on the front-end technologies like Struts, JSP, Servlets, HTML will not be enough.

- Experience in performance optimization of J2EE systems on any of different types of application servers - WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, etc. Deep expertise in any one of the application servers is a must.

- Good skills in RDBMS like Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL, Cassandra, and Mongo DB

- Experience in creating and reviewing technical documents like Architecture blueprint, Design specifications, Deployment architecture, Workload modeling, etc.

- Good to have Experienced in using APM tools like AppDynamics or Dynatrace for capacity planning & proactive monitoring, deep dive, and analysis.

- Understands and have worked on Performance Testing tools - Apache Jmeter / HP Load Runner / MS VSTS - Load test

- Exposure to Agile methodologies & Continuous Integration Tools

- Experience in Analytics like - Libuv (Node.js), Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, Apache Hadoop

- Experience in any / all of these areas is desired - Infrastructure sizing, Capacity planning, Performance modeling, Cloud Computing.

- Entrepreneur / Intrapreneur (someone who has built technology teams ground-up, built new solutions from scratch)

- Very sound understanding of technology and have a consultative approach

- Sound understanding of complex enterprise IT environment and issues faced by CIOs in the digital era

- Excellent Pre-sales experience and have played a key role in winning business along with the sales team.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, liaison, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

- Good negotiation skills

- Go-getter and results-oriented

- High energy level with the ability to work well under pressure

- Good relationship building skills. Someone who enjoys the CIO's trust and has the ability to develop relationships at all levels (technology teams) of the customer organization.
