Software Engineer L3 - Java/J2EE/.Net (1-4 yrs) (Oceanworld talent services)

Position -L3 Software Engineer (3 position)

Experience- 1-4Year

Qualification - Btech/Mtech in either CS, IT, IS Streams and MCA

Salary - 4- 7 LACS DEP ON EXP

Notice period - within 10days

Working days - 5 days

WFH/WFO - Work from home (2days work from office)

REQUIREMENT

1. The candidate should possess exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.

2. The candidate should have a strong understanding of computer science basics and algorithms.

3. The candidate should have had exposure to working with remote machines / VMs and also with Unix based servers and Shell.

4. The Candidate should be profic+ient in Java, its core OOP and design Principles, and should have experience in building/patching/ maintaining Java code. Familiarity with J2EE framework is a must.

5. The Candidate should have knowledge of C/C++ and building/patching machine specific code.

6. The Candidate should have strong communication skills in English.

7. The Candidate should have experience working with Eclipse and Visual Studio.

8. The candidate should have experience in working with either Oracle or SQL server(or both) Databases.

9. The Candidate should have a working Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript. Proficiency in JavaScript is a plus.

10. Candidates with Experience in DOTNET framework and C# are preferred.

11. Familiarity with any of the following technologies is a plus.

- SAP

- Peoplesoft

- DB2

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. As a L3 Software Engineer you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving critical and time sensitive issues raised by the customers.

2. You will be required to take the ownership of individual support issues and communicating with the customers directly over email and phone regarding the status of these issues.

3. You will be required to have screen-sharing sessions with the customer to troubleshoot live issues.

4. You will be required to make an estimate of the time required to resolve individual issues, and set customer expectation and delivery dates based on that.

5. You will be required to work alongside with both the COMPANY and the overseas support engineers, helping them resolve critical issues.

6. You will be required to take ownership of individual modules of the product and learn their overall architecture as well as the detailed inner workings.
