iMarkserv - Solution Architect - Java/J2EE Programming (8-12 yrs) (iMarkserv)

Seeking a Solution Architect to join a highly skilled team of senior developers within NLP Automation Technology Group and help us continue to build Our Cognitive Automation product. Technical Leadership

As a lead person, the employee:

- Does due diligence as far as analysis and design of any projects they undertake

- Owns technological solutions to implement designs made for our customers, including:

- Solution designing

- Project progress tracking

- Guiding other team members

- Owns solutions to support iMarkServ business strategy and service delivery, including:

- Security, both internal and on customer projects

- Reporting, internal and to customers

- Creates and implements short and long-term strategy in terms of technological growth

- Leads the implementation and support of technological solutions

- Works with other iMarkServ leaders to deliver services within their function

- Ensures team follow processes and proposes process improvements where necessary

- Participates in creating new products and services where technology is concerned

- Contributing to Customer Relationships and Customer Success

Required Qualifications:

- Graduate or Post Graduate in computers or relevant field

- 8+ years of experience on Java/J2EE programming

- Good written and verbal English

- Experience leading a team technically

Required Skills :

- Hands on experience on Java/J2EE programming

- Providing technical design or approach for a business problem

- Experience with web technologies like Servlets, Spring and Struts

- Experience managing teams and deliveries

- Experience using latest frameworks like Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Rest

- Experience with Test Driven Development

- Experience with SQL on any of the RDBMS - Oracle, PostgreSQL, My SQL, SQL Server

- Experience with any of the ORM frameworks - Hibernate/iBatis, JDBC, JPA

- Experience with Web Services development - SOAP, REST

- Exposure to JMS - IBM MQ or Active MQ is good to have

- Exposure to performance testing using JMeter is good to have

- Use of code repository tools like SVN, GIT

- Exposure to any of the build and deployment tools - ant, gradle, maven

- Understanding coding practices, code quality and code coverage

- Experience with Agile practices

- Good team player and coordination skills
