Lead Developer - Java/J2EE/Spring (3-12 yrs) (Resource solutions)

The Role Responsibilities & Ideal Candidate:

Malaysian Nationals Preferred.

- Prior experience developing and scaling complex software environments for web services/ applications.

- Strong foundational knowledge on object-oriented analysis and design, with hands-on skills in Java 1.7 & 1.8

- Strong experience in open source frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Open JPA, Transaction Management and Apache Libraries (Camel/ActiveMQ/Commons)

- Strong Experience in application integration using Web Service (SOAP/REST) or Messaging using JMS

- Hands-on knowledge in application servers/containers JBoss Fuse, apache tomcat, WebSphere

- Knowledge of provisioning and configuration management tools like Git, SVN etc

- Hands-on experience on Linux/Unix environments

Preferred competencies:

- Hands-on skills in J2EE specifications like JAX-RS, JAX-WS

- Experience on tools like Jenkins, Git/Stash, JIRA, Maven, NodeJS

- Strong in Oracle or Postgres SQL PL/SQL development and designing data model.

- Web services, API design

- Dev Ops Tools and CI/CD Processes - Jenkins, Git, GitFlow, Jira, BitBucket etc.

 - Knowledge of microservices architecture

- Good to have experience in containerization technologies - Docker, Kubernetes & open shift

- Experience in distributed technologies e.g. Kafka, Apache MQ, RabbitMQ etc will be added advantage
