Job Requirements :
- 9+ years of software experience
- 3+ years server side Java
- MUST have 2+ years of CURRENT Liferay Portal experience
- Strong object oriented design skills
- Strong database design skills
- Experience on Architecture and Design on Liferay based Application development
- Must have Spring experience
- Prefer experience with some of the following: Hibernate, Struts, ANT, Maven, and JUnit
- Experience with Oracle/MS SQL Server/MySQL
- Experience in SOA, SOAP/REST web services
- JSR 168/286 Portlet development experience; Spring MVC portlet experience desired
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Should be able to understand business requirements and translate to information architecture/software development
- Ability to handle task allocation and coordination, along with personal deliverables
- Ability and desire to work in all aspects of application delivery including requirements, architecture, design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Ability to size up infrastructure and experience in performance tuning to achieve strict SLA's.
Other Skills :
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to assist in pre-sales activities including client meetings and proposal writing
- Should adhere to development plan and guide team for any query in J2EE, XML, XSLT, XSD, HTMl5, AJAX, jQuery, and JavaScript.
