Technology Analyst - Java/J2EE/Spring Boot (6-12 yrs) (Gig Consultants)

Short Description :

- In the role of the Technology Analyst you will create detailed design artefacts, work on development and perform code reviews, implement validation and support activities in line with architecture requirements. You have to participate in knowledge management activities, and You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help detail the project and service operations scope. Roles and Responsibilities :

- Responsible for design, development, implementation, operation improvement and debug cloud environments and Cloud Management Platform and orchestration tools.

- Gather the requirements and specifications to understand the client requirements in a detailed manner and translate the same into system requirements and play a key role in the overall estimation of work requirements to provide the right information on project estimations to Technology Leads and Project Managers. and would be a key contributor to building efficient programs/ systems and if you think you fit right in to help our clients navigate their next in their digital transformation journey.

- Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.

- Create and develop possible automation solution for cloud environments using native or 3rd party tools like Terraform, Chef etc

- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures through automation tools. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

- Have a good understanding of development best practice/recommendation and should be able to align the same with the customer requirements to deliver best in class solution for the customer.

- This individual will consult with other team members and use prior expertise with GCP/AWS/Azure to extend an existing framework of automation across new and existing application environments.

Skill/ Competency Requirements :

Skill : Java, J2EE, Angular, Webservices & spring framework. Ansible / Puppet / Chef

Essential :

- At least 4-5 years- experience in developing java based applications and Services with an overall 6+ years of experience.

- Relevant working experience with Java, JSP, XML, J query, Struts, Spring MVC, Springboot, Micro-services, Hiberate,Angular 6 and above, Postgres / Oracle DB, and Experience of Rules engine (Drools), Messaging Event Bus (Kafka) is also required

- Familiar with various design and architectural platforms and concepts of MVC, JDBC, Java GUI frameworks.

- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java platforms and Thorough understanding of Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

- Good knowledge of automation & configuration management tools like GCP native tool - deployment manager and third party tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Salt etc

- At least 1- 2 years of experience using DevOps Tools, Python, Dockers

- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills;

Preferred :

- Knowledge and preferably working experience of other Cloud services such as AWS, Azure, IBM Soft layer, Rackspace, Private Clouds

- Cloud Industry trends and cloud platform feature capabilities

- Experience in Managing delivery in Global Delivery Model with Onsite (client site)/ offshore resources
