Job Description :
- Engage in all aspects of a project, to design the Pega solution end-to-end. Successfully translate functional designs into technical solutions using Pega best practices and ensure adherence to Pega development guardrails.
- To ensure successful initiation, planning, execution, control and completion of projects through monitoring, tracking and analyzing project control metrics.
- Lead project development, production support and maintenance activities.
- Create functional and technical specification documents by understanding customer requirements
- Develops the enterprise class business and technical architecture and reviews infrastructure requirements such as data architecture definitions and data management plans
- Lead technical teams, delivers technical guidance, advice & enables team members, and provides knowledge transfer to customer.
- Lead the customer interface for the project on an everyday basis, proactively addressing any issues before they are escalated.
- Works in conjunction with Program Manager to size, manage scope and risk.
- Draft initial charter and project plan, create and review functional and technical specification documents.
- Participate in quality reviews and implement quality norms. Lead and ensure project comply with Software Quality Processes and is adhering to the defined timelines.
- Accountable for ensuring the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches customer technical and functional requirements, and commits to Customer Success (realization of business benefit)
- Participates in the development of additional consulting opportunities within the customer base.
Skills Required :
- Pega Lead System Architect Certification
- Should have excellent working knowledge of Pega 8.1 and 8.3 versions and deep knowledge of Pega application design and development best practices.
- Around 5 years of experience working on different Pega projects developing implementations of Pega multi-process applications.
- experience in JAVA/J2EE application development and production support & maintenance.
- Demonstrate complete mastery of all aspects of Pega PRPC technology and have knowledge of Processes, UI, Integrations, Agents, Performance Tuning, Designing Class Structures etc.
- General IT skills such as Java programming, DBMS, Restful Web Services, HTML, JavaScript, WebLogic/general application server concept, Unix shell scripting,
- Should have worked on at least one end to end mobile application development project, starting from greenfield/from scratch up until PROD go live incl. Performance tuning.
- Qualified candidates must also have superior aptitude for analytical concepts, oral and written communication skills, customer focus, teamwork abilities, integrity, and relationship-building skills.
Good To Have :
- Ensure timesheets and invoicing processes are completed on or before the deadline.
- Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodology.
