Technical Project Manager - IT Programs (10-15 yrs) (Wissda.Inc)

As Technical Program Manager you will be responsible for the technical enablement of the Product organization. This is a challenging position with the opportunity to provide influence on technical solutions and decisions across the product organization..

Key Result Areas:

- The tasks this individual is responsible for are often unstructured, have wide implications and there are multiple outcomes.

- This individual will apply broad expertise or unique technical/industry knowledge in solving problems that are unique and extremely complex given time, budget and resource constraints.

- This individual must work effectively with Staff to Director level employees within the function, across functions and with external parties.

- Limited supervision is provided, as this individual can operate, drive results, and set priorities independently.

- The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert.

- To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favourable results through leadership and influencing multiple individuals and groups.

- Often acts as mentor or facilitator.

Job Requirements:

- Responsible for planning, leading and managing technical information to support technical team.

- Should have Java/J2EE experience

- Should have worked in Agile Methodology and should be pragmatic in the approach MUST have: CSM/ PMP/ SAFE Agile

- Project Tracking across the location and report the status and metrics to Senior Mangement

- Serve as a technical focal point and collective voice in technical forums to represent the concerns of customers.

- Ability to identify opportunities to improve and enhance new/existing methodologies that positively impact technical ability to drive successful customer outcomes.

- Work cross-functionally to represent the organization and provide input during product readiness.

- Investigate, document and message quality concerns to drive consistently across the global organization.

- Assist in leading open forums to enable collaboration and knowledge sharing within the organization.

- Analyze problems and drive solutions involving multiple elements of program planning.

- Manage special projects as assigned by management to meet customer and cross-functional team needs. Requirements:

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills.

- Understanding of development processes (requirements, design, development, test practices, deployment and support).

- Ability to translate technical issues to impact on customer environments.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate at varying technical levels.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals.

- Program Management training or demonstrated experience.

- Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
