Vice President - Software Development - Java & Big Data Technologies (12-25 yrs) (Crescendo Global)

VP Java and Big Data Job opportunity for someone holding at least 14 years of work experience in designing and building scalable and resilient technical solutions using Big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka and hands on with Java, J2ee.You will be the integral part of CIB Securities Processing Technology Team that build and maintain business critical applications.

Location: Hyderabad

Responsibilities:

- Designing and building scalable and resilient technical solutions

- Driving the delivery of business value via change programs/projects within the Securities Processing technology group

- Developing a strong understanding of key functions of trade processing, Clearing, Settlement and Asset Servicing

- Partnering with supporting tech leads to develop realistic and achievable project estimates

- Analyzing and building within Control, Stability, Resiliency, Capacity & Performance areas.

- Robust delivery of code into the production environment with zero tolerance for post implementation issues

Requirements:

- 12+ years of experience in development, deployment, and support of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment.

- 5+ years of hands on experience in architecting and building applications using Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka and other Big Data technologies.

- Experience in Java and J2EE technologies like Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Micro services, Distributed Caching and Rest.

- 3+ years of experience leading successful teams and delivering projects using agile.

- Strong experience of Object Oriented software design, design patterns and software architecture

- Strong background in SQL and RDBMs (e.g. Oracle, DB2) and performance testing

- Experience of publish-subscribe middleware such IBM MQ/Tibco/Kafka
