Senior Developer Consultant (Women Candidates Only)
Our diversity partner Northern Trust is looking for a Java Lead to join its IIP team. This individual as part of an Agile development team, will be responsible for analysis, design and development of user interface and web services components that meet business and technical requirements.
Major Duties :
- Design and develop user interface components based on screen design documents that fit within technical framework as outlined by technical architects
- Ensure code meets standards and tested appropriate to the platform
- Provide technical guidance to the development team
- Communicate status (written and verbal) to project team and management
Knowledge/Skills :
- Agile Methodology
- Knowledge of user interface frameworks, Java, Application servers
- Knowledge of full software development lifecycle
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- A positive goal orientated attitude with a focus on delivery
Required Skills :
- Agile Methodology
- Java/JEE and Web based development experience
- React JS / latest UI Technologies
- Experience in Spring Frameworks and Spring Boot
- Knowledge in Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC)
- Experience in either Maven or Gradle
- Experience in REST API Development experience.
- Financial Domain experience
Preferred/ Recommended :
- Junit - The de-facto standard for unit testing Java applications.
- Spring Test & Spring Boot Test - Utilities and integration test support for Spring Boot applications.
- Knowledge PCF is an added advantage
Experience :
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Overall 8+ Years of Industry experience
- Experience in agile development methodology
- Experience as Tech Lead
