Java/SQL Developer - WebSphere/WebLogic (2-6 yrs) (Job Mantras)

About the position :

Candidates will be part of the Professional Services team and work as an Implementation Specialist

Who is an Implementation Specialist?

- When a client purchases a new hardware or software system from us, the sales representative who sold it to them moves on to the next client. That's where an Implementation Specialist comes in. Implementation Specialists use their technical knowledge to install, monitor and customize systems for our clients after the initial purchase has already taken place.

- To accomplish this, you will talk with our clients, customize features, define objectives and deliver training sessions. Essentially, you ensure that a client doesn't just buy our product, but has a positive experience with it, too.

- You will typically report to higher-level member of staff, such as an project Manager or Implementation Manager, while working with a small team of other Implementation Specialists.

- Although you will spend most of your time in an office environment, you may also need to travel in order to meet with clients.

Key Deliverables :

1. Produces detailed low-level designs from high level design specifications for components of low-level complexity.

2. Develops, builds and unit tests components from detailed low-level designs.

3. Carries out unit testing on own developed code, developing test harnesses if necessary.

4. Applies all relevant standards and procedures to own work.

5. Accurately records own time and accurately reports progress on own work.

6. Complies with all confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensures security of information at all times.

Eligibility :

1. B.E. Computers / IT.

2. Minimum 60% score without any backlogs in every semester in BE.

3. Minimum 60% score in X and XII.

Required Skill sets :

Candidates are expected to have the following skillsets:

1. Good in Object Oriented Programming concepts and data structures.

2. Core JAVA and or Oracle

3. UNIX/LINUX usage - scripting knowledge would be an added advantage.

Desirable skills :

1. Hands on knowledge of Dev ops processes and tools, including test automation

2. Strong understanding of J2EE concepts and experience of either JBOSS, Websphere or Weblogic including clustering and tuning

3. Queuing technologies including Kafka, MQ, Solace

4. Scripting including Python, Unix, java

5. Hands on knowledge of Dev ops processes and tools, including test automation
