Software Engineer/Senior Engineer - Java/Big Data Programming (2-6 yrs) (Aniaaz Consulting Pvt. Ltd.)

Profile Description:

This person's key responsibility is to build the next generation of Big Data analytical platform integrating multiple very large-scale data sources.

Key Responsibilities :

- Understand the business of Ugam and client needs in specific

- Design and develop new components of the big data platform

- Own the platform development process from inception to production deployment, including project scheduling, design, implementation and coordination with another team members

- Work closely with Product Management and Data Scientist teams to define and refine the big data platform to achieve company product and business objectives

- Collaborate with other technology teams and architects to define and develop cross-function technology stack interactions

- Research and experiment with emerging technologies and tools related to big data

- Contribute to the big data open-source ecosystem

- Experience in scaling applications on big data platforms to massive size.

- Responsible for ownership of the development of an entire module.

- Participate in critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.

- Adhere to procedures like communication protocols, operational practices/procedures, Information security practices, attendance procedures, etc.

- Participate and actively contribute to review meetings.

Technical Expertise :

- Mastery in Java programming

- Expertise in the following:

- OOAD/OOPS/UML, Design Patterns, MVC, Spring, Hibernate, Java, J2EE

- Exposure to JSP, JSF, JavaScript Library such as jQuery, Ajax and UI frameworks

- Exposure to component model design, SOA, open-source framework/tools

- Web Services, JSON, JMS, XML, SQL

- Exposure to Test Driven Development/Re-factoring ideas/Domain-driven design patterns/Continuous

- Integration/Build Automation/Data-Mapper framework/Mocks
