Ineconomi - Senior Java Developer - J2EE/WebSphere (6-8 yrs) (Ineconomi)

SUMMARY OF POSITION :

As the Senior Java Developer, you will be part of a talented team that is responsible for design, development and maintenance of our enterprise application which is a java based data management platform for clinical trial management.

- Design and develop new enhancements to the product.

- Analyze, debug and identify root cause and fix production issues.

- Choose and implement the right set of Java design patterns applicable for a problem.

- Write well designed, testable, efficient code.

- Perform code reviews, write unit tests and contribute to improving quality of code.

- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these during architectural reviews.

- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.

To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

- 6 years to 8 years of experience working in Core Java & J2EE technologies.

- Strong in Core Java (Collections, Threads, Regular Expressions, Exception handling, Multi-threading), JDBC, Servlets, JSP, Struts, Spring & Hibernate.

- Strong experience in JavaScript frameworks like JQuery, ExtJS and good knowledge in Object-Oriented JavaScript, ES6, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS/ LESS.

- Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.

- Working experience in servers like Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, etc.

- Experience in building RESTful Web Services.

- Good knowledge on coding standards, design patterns, unit testing frameworks, TDD, CICD practices.

- Experience writing complex SQL queries and working experience with MySQL and Oracle databases.

- Should carry the culture of delivering projects with first time right and zero defects in Production.

- A deeper understanding of security and performance in enterprise web and mobile products.

- Experience in Agile development methodology is a plus.

- Excellent initiative, interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a strong desire to continuously learn and enhance skills.
