Technology Specialist in Java/J2EE/Web Service

Job Description :

- Planning, analyzing and defining solutions for Java/J2EE based applications through business, functional and technical expertise

- Provide guidance to development team in analysis, design, and implementation of integrated Java based systems.

- Overseeing the creation, execution and documentation of unit tests.

- Responding to inquiries concerning application development and support

- Assists in tracking the progress of the development with accountability to the project manager.

- Provide continuous input to development team for performance tuning.

- Gather information from monitoring tool and work with development team to resolve bottleneck in the code on performance.

- Review code and sign-off before production deployment.

- Own the solution end to end i.e. involve in deployment, monitoring and supporting the production cluster.

- Ensure the development team follow the coding standard and practice

- Ensure the testing team do performance test wherever required before production deployment.

- Experience in Java/J2EE based Web development using Spring framework.

- Hands on knowledge on SOAP web services frameworks like Axis, CXF etc.

- Hands-on experience in REST APIs & Management of Apache Tomcat

- Experience in Spring boot based microservices using Netflix OSS frameworks

- Knowledge of Oracle database queries and stored procedures

- Basic administration using Web Logic and Apache Tomcat configuration

- Comfortable in working with Linux environment & have understanding of Big Data Hadoop framework

- Graduate/Post Graduate in Computer Science/Electronics

- Minimum of 9 years of experience in Java/J2EE platform and minimum of 3 years in an architect role.
