Paytm - Technical Lead - Java Backend Development - J2EE/Spring/Hibernate (5-8 yrs) (Paytm)

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Collaborate closely with our Product/Tech team and become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team.

- Dedicate yourself to building a well-tested and scalable application.

- Conduct code review and explain technical concepts to team members.

- Continuously explore ways to improve our architecture and practices.

- Contribute your own ideas and work closely with different business units.

- Mentor other developers and help them grow in their profession.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Experience in Backend development using Java and related technologies.

- Experience in building and maintaining distributed, low latency, highly scalable systems.

- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, design patterns, testing and debugging skills.

- Experience with open-source tools and technologies.

- Design skills with prior experience with Scala/Akka or Core Java stack - J2EE, Spring, Comfortable with JMS, Transactions with Core Container & web services.

- Database design and programming using JDBC/SQL or persistence frameworks such as Hibernate or JPA.

- Experience with XML binding frameworks - XML Beans, Castor or JAXB, Testing & Build frameworks (J Unit, Maven, Mocking frameworks like J Mock).

- Prior work experience with Relational (MySQL) & Non-Relational databases (primarily Cassandra, MongoDb) is an added plus.

- Love architecting systems for speed and performance and for solving the particular problem at hand.

- Must be a proven performer and team player that enjoys challenging assignments in a high-energy, fast-growing and start-up workplace.
