Klausit - Java Developer - J2EE/AWS/Node.js (5-7 yrs) (Klausit)

Devops role for FCA - All Data Application (ADA) connected vehicle application- Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. 2+ years of experience in Java/Java EE application development and other modern languages. Strong communication skills. Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and nonfunctional requirements for new/existing software or applications.

Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards. Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to the development team.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Responsible for development, testing, support & troubleshooting of new AWS microservices, APIs and web applications and modification in existing applications as per requirements by studying / analyzing requirements.

- Oversee progress of the development team to ensure consistency with initial design.

- Executes common Agile/SCRUM and Kanban processes and standards to define, build, and launch the correct End Result:

- Develop design specifications, installation instructions and other system-related information.

- Design, develop, implement and maintain series of services, subsystem, revision and enhancement of current system.

- Provide operational support of day-to-day operations

- Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security and scalability of system architecture.

- Provide technical guidance and coaching.

- Experience in web technologies like Knockout Framework, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, Ajax.

- Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture

- Experience with AWS services- lambda, api gateway, dynamodb, cloudwatch

- High quality organizational and leadership skills

- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities

- Self-motivated, driven and capable of working unsupervised

Qualifications, Experience and Competency Requirements:

Education: Bachelors in computer related field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Management Information Systems

Experience Essential :

- 2-4 years of total technical work experience preferably in to Java/J2EE or Node.js front end and back end applications

- Able to provide functional support in good time in order to respond to critical usage requests from the business.

- Strong SDLC knowledge (Agile)

- In-depth knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and software design principles

- Exceptional organization and time management to meet timelines

- Experience with deploying services in AWS

- Confirms architecture capability and flexibility to support high availability web applications by developing analytical models; completing validation tests.

- Improves architecture by tracking emerging technologies; evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements.

- Convey architectural solutions to all levels of professionals and leaders.

- Identify, review and present input on project activities and plans.

- Working knowledge on data analytics.

- Working knowledge of Agile and DevOps

Desirable:

- 4+ years of development experience

- AWS Certification (Associate or Professional)

- Connected vehicle experience

- Knowledge of MQTT and broker configuration (HiveMQ, Mosquitto)

- Working knowledge of C, C++, Python, Javascript

- Experience with embedded systems

- High proficiency with Linux OS and variants

- Collaborate with other developers across regions, clients, managers and information architects to determine system requirements, deliverables and project milestones
