Urgent job opening for Technical Project Manager role for one of our client in Chennai

Job Description for Technical Project Manager:

- Expertise programming skills in core java and j2EE.

- Worked extensively on Spring MVC, Spring Boot framework to develop new internal web applications.

- Experience in version control tools like GIT, CVS, and SVN.

- Expertise in REST, SOAP web services to integrate between applications to application.

- Strong Knowledge in any Java Integrated Development Environment (IDE) like Eclipse / IntelliJ / Spring Tool Suite

- Strong Knowledge in any build tools like ANT, Maven, Gradle

- Good exposure in mobile application development

- Strong Knowledge in DB schema designing

- Strong Knowledge in debugging and trouble shooting.

- Strong interpersonal skills - must be able to work effectively as part of a project team and foster team cooperation.

- Ensures customer satisfaction of information technology solutions by managing the details of overall project schedules, budgets, and deliverables

- Plans and directs schedules and may monitor budget/spending.

- Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.

- Ability to make recommendations based on client's explicit and implied needs and translates those needs into work products

- Manage the project plan, drive project completion, facilitating issues, maintaining control over scope and ensuring that project artifacts are maintained

- Prepare materials to present to stakeholders or technology, both visually and in textual form

- Manage project risk. Proactively identify and engage key project stakeholders/partners to avoid unanticipated issues and gaps during project execution.

- Pro-active status reporting and key issues. Daily, Weekly and monthly reporting on project details and status to various stakeholders, partners, PMO, tech execs, etc.

- Monthly resource allocation process to forecast resource needs for upcoming month. Collaborates and communicates with other project managers and dev leads, and managers to coordinate resources among multiple work streams, cross-project initiatives and activities.

- Successfully execute all relevant project phases to design, build, test and implement deliverables required to achieve project objectives and benefit targets.

- Establish basic scope control procedures. Effectively identify and manage changes to project scope.

Salary:- as per market standards

Notice period:- Immediate to 30 days max

Working hours :- 10am to 7pm

Working days:- Mon to Fri (Sat, Sun off. Sometimes if required then they have to work on weekends also)

Work location:- Chennai

Work type:- work from home as of now but if required the candidate has to visit the office whenever the client calls.

Interview process:- One technical round and one HR round ( both rounds will be either taken by telephonic mode or google meet)
