Requirement Gathering & Process Redesign

- Gather business needs/ requirements from the stakeholders using appropriate information gathering method and analyze the information.

- Translate business needs into functional requirements specifications.

- Design, Development & Deployment

- Analyze the software requirements and high-level design of the application

- Develop detailed design and specifications for the application components according to the defined software requirements and acceptance criteria

- Communicate the detailed design to the development team

- Determine the design specifications to handle deployment, testing and implementation requirements

- Perform codes review

- Code program using selected programming language and according to organizational standards, if required

- Testing & Quality Assurance

- Prepare for test environment and test data for the integration testing

- Review integration test

- Review load and stress testing

- Review test report and actions required for discussion with the relevant stakeholders

- Adhere to the organization's system development process and best practices to achieve the required quality outcomes

Security

- Ensure team adheres to the application security standards/guidelines for web application security risks and implements them in the web application design/development

- Review and ensure there is no software programming errors that can lead to potential web vulnerabilities in software application

- Application Support and Maintenance

- Evaluate the impact analysis and solution

- Prepare the problem resolution report to the relevant parties

- Establish the solution to resolve the application problem or fulfill the change request together with the subject matter experts when necessary

Project Management

- Communicate information to team members in accordance with implementation plan and its execution

- Provide timely technical guidance and coaching to team to achieve project objectives on time and within required efforts

- Manage software configuration to ensure correctness and completeness of configuration items

Primary Skills: Java J2EE, any MVC Framework, Spring, Spring boot, hibernate, Database - Oracle / MS SQL etc, SOAP / REST Webservice, Involved in designing application, assigning task and guiding team members on technical topics, Support activities .

Secondary Skills: Messaging - IBM MQ / any queue, knowledge on application performance, application security, application deployment architecture
