Principle Engineer - Java/J2EE (8-11 yrs) (Talent Stock Solutions)

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. He/ She will be responsible for leading a team of developers, acting as a scrum master for end to end feature development, quality and enhancements that will vastly enhance customer experience, retention, and increase adoption and reliance on the Wooqer platform.

2. Must have a growth mindset, positive attitude, and be comfortable leading Agile development practices for growing the Wooqer platform by 3X, also and be comfortable talking customers on multiple implementations and integrations.

3. Will collaborate with peers in Development, QA, DevOps, and Customer Success teams to accomplish the organization's growth plans of scaling and supporting a world class B2B platform with marquee customers.

4. Will be highly motivated, will have an - ownership- attitude, and exhibit a high level of technical competence to operate with passion and confidence. This role will provide learning opportunities to keep his/her peers motivated and growth oriented.

Minimum Qualifications :

- Should have at least 7+ years on-hands experience working and working in agile scrum environment, developing BackEnd, API based applications/software (Non-Mandate)

- Experience with one of the major relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, Postgres).

- Strong object oriented programming experience using Java/J2EE (Spring/Spring Boot Framework)

- Expert skills in HTML5, CSS, Json, JQuery, Javascript. Skills on ElasticSearch and Python is a plus.

- Desirable to have experience in messaging protocol like MQTT and messaging middleware like ActiveMQ.

- Experience with Git, SVN or similar distributed SCM tools experience

- Experience and strong understanding of entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software design/architecture process, unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)

- Experience with Cloud technologies - AWS

- Strong knowledge of SOA, object-oriented programming, design patterns, multi-threaded application development

- Must have experience in reporting and analytics, queuing and real-time streaming systems

- Must have experience in developing, maintaining, and innovating large scale, consumer facing web or mobile applications

Academic/Work Exp Qualifications:

- Should be from a premier institute such as IIT, NIT etc or should have worked in a fast growing start up

- Should have had consistent work experience and shipped at least 2 products from scratch
