Senior Software Engineer - Java/J2EE Frameworks (5-8 yrs) (Ally eXecutive HR Consulting)

Position Summary:

An enthusiastic, dedicated and sharp minded Full Stack Software Professional from Java background having 5 to 7 years- experience would be required who could contribute to team as well as able to handle the projects individually. Desired candidate would be responsible for development efforts toward the creation, implementation, and support of existing and next-generation software solutions by analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and modifying software enhancements and/or new products.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Participate in Designing, Developing new products.

- Engages team to review ideas, solutions, issues, and/or concerns.

- Maintains and modifies existing applications.

- Proactively seeks and fixes defects, Identifies internal/external issues of limited scope and drives to resolution.

- Applies AGILE concepts and works collaboratively and closely with QA in an Agile/Scrum environment.

- Contributes to project document reviews, and design/code reviews.

- Adheres to IT Control Policies throughout design, development, and testing.

- Works with cross-functional teams and interacts with internal business partners to verify/clarify business requirements and design decisions.

- Generates supporting unit test as well as system test specifications and implementations; can build automated tests.

- End to end project development

- May train and mentor new team members as and when needed.

Essential Requirements:

- Technology: Java

- J2EE Technologies: Servlet, JSP

- Framework/API: Spring, Hibernate, Selenium, Query DSL

- Cloud: AWS Services like EC2, S3, Docker, RDS etc.

- Database: MYSQL/MSSQL Server, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures

- Operating Systems: Windows, Unix/Linux

- Server: Apache Tomcat

- Efficient Programming: Data Structures

- Methodologies: OOAD, Multithreading (Concurrency)

- Development Tools: Maven 2.1, Eclipse, Jenkins

- Others: HTML/DHTML, CSS and JavaScript, XML/JSON, JDBC

- Ticketing and Version Controlling: SVN, Git, Jira

- Hands on Experience on Cloud services (Preferably AWS)

Nice to have

- AngularJS, ReactJS

- RESTful Web Services

- Web service framework.

- Prior experience in Intellectual Property (IP) Domain would be an added advantage.

Qualifications:
