Technology Lead - Java/J2EE/Spring (8-15 yrs) (Gig Consultants)

Short Description :

- In the role of the Technology Lead you will be working on a implementation of activities related to design, build, and implementation of work product and participate in requirement elicitation, validation of architecture, creation and review of design, provide pseudo code to team, assign and review of tasks for work product implementation with objective of ensuring highest levels of service offerings to clients and You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help detail the project and service operations scope. Roles and Responsibilities :

- Responsible for design, development, implementation, operation improvement and debug cloud environments and Cloud Management Platform and orchestration tools.

- Performs engineering design evaluations for new environment builds

- Performs high and low level design, provide pseudo codes, Implement prototype and does design reviews in order to deliver as per customer requirements.

- Guide the team in developing optimized high quality code deliverable and perform code deliverable reviews and unit test plan reviews, conduct independent testing and sign off code to testing stage.

- Provides inputs for overall implementation plan, Lead deployment of applications/Infrastructure and post production activities in order to enable productionization of application/system/infrastructure.

- Create and develop possible automation solution for cloud environments using native or 3rd party tools like Terraform, Chef etc

- Reviews and Technical supervision/direction to the teams on Microservice and cloud based services

- Have a good understanding of development best practice/recommendation and should be able to align the same with the customer requirements to deliver best in class solution for the customer.

- Process analysis and design, with a focus on identifying technology-driven improvements to core enterprise processes

Skill/ Competency Requirements :

Skill : Java, J2EE, Angular, Webservices, postgres & spring framework. Experience in API integration with either of AWS, Azure or VMWare Clouds desirable. Experience with any one of the following config management tools is a nice to have - Ansible / Puppet / Chef

Essential :

- At least 6-8 years- experience in developing java based applications and Services with an overall 8+ years of experience.

- Relevant working experience with Java, JSP, XML, J query, Struts, Spring MVC, Springboot, Micro-services, Angular 6, Postgres / Oracle DB, and Experience of Rules engine (Drools), Messaging Event Bus (Kafka) is also required

- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java platforms and Thorough understanding of Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

- Good knowledge of automation & configuration management tools like GCP native tool - deployment manager and third party tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Salt etc

- At least 2 - 3 years of experience using DevOps Tools, Python, Dockers

- Knowledge about CI and CD using GIT, Jenkins, Ansible, JIRA ..etc

- Proven knowledge of leading Cloud Management Platform and orchestration tools

- Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive project from architecture standpoint

Preferred :

- Knowledge and preferably working experience of other Cloud services such as AWS, Azure, IBM Soft layer, Rackspace, Private Clouds

- Cloud Industry trends and cloud platform feature capabilities

- Experience in Managing delivery in Global Delivery Model with Onsite (client site)/ offshore resources
