Job Description : Looking for professionals with 12-15 Years of overall experience with strong experience in Java/J2EE, Cloud services with RDBMS and REST Services, for a Chennai based Investment giant.

The Skills that are Key to this role :
- Strong hands-on designing and development skills in Java J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot & Cloud.
- Strong exposure to designing and developing REST API.
- Prior experience of working in highly transactional, fault-tolerant and data-driven systems.
- Ability to lead teams working on large technology initiatives - should be able to lead a team of 20+ developers working across different squads.
- Ability to identify areas of risk or potential problems and take action to mitigate them and work with less experienced staff to mitigate more complex issues.
- Collaboration across different chapters and chapter areas to bring out standard best practices & processes.
- Ability to apply different communication and leadership styles for different teams and geographies.
- Ability to lead through influence and know what data is needed to drive effective decisions
- Ability to assess and plan projects, and stakeholder's needs, and manage deadlines, risks.
- Ability to anticipate roadblocks, diagnose problems and generate effective solutions
- Ability to build communication and rapport with partners, stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and be effective in many different business settings.

- Operating Systems : Unix/Linux and shell scripting (optional)
- Languages : Java 1.7/J2EE (mandatory)
- Core Spring 3.0 (mandatory)
- Spring Boot (mandatory)
- Mybatis/ Hibernate, JPA (should be aware of atleast one)
- REST Web Services (mandatory)
- Node
- UI Technologies : JavaScript, Angular 2+
- Cloud Platform : Hands-on experience in developing Cloud Native applications. Working experience in any of the cloud platforms viz. AWS, Azure (mandatory)
- Application Server : Tomcat/TC Server
- Databases : Good understanding and experience on RDBMS (mandatory)
- Methodology : Agile
- Others : Awareness of cutting edge technology such as AI/ML, BlockChain, etc. is a plus.
- Prior experience on large scale IT Transformational Projects ( Migration, Modernization) is plus.
