Software Engineer - Big Data Technologies (4-10 yrs) (Self owned)

What you will be doing :

- Work as an individual contributor in an Agile scrum team responsible for a micro services based product development using Big Data technologies like Cassandra, Elastic Search, Graph data base, Kafka, Kubernetes etc.

- Design and develop modules in java using J2EE, AOP, Multi-threading, advanced data structures in distributed, scalable systems.

- Collaborate with various disciplines within engineering and outside such as product management, User experience, tech support and with customers to provide innovative solutions.

- Generate IP for the company by filing patents.

What skills, experience and education you need as a team member to succeed:

- Graduating with a Bachelor's in Computer Science OR Computer Engineering

- Master the fundamentals of programming and/or debugging skills in Java (and associated frameworks), Python

- Working knowledge of API fundamentals and best practices

- Knowledge of operating Systems : LINUX/UNIX- ObjectOriented Language- Agile Process

- Strong problem solving and organizational skills

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Beneficial Skills :

- Interest of Big Data/NoSQL technologies

- Worked on a new product or in a start-up company

- Building container based applications on Kubernetes

- Knowledge of Spring Boot, Angular a plus
