Delivery Manager - Java Technologies (11-15 yrs) (TAP India HR Solutions)

Opening for Delivery Manager - Java with US financial company (fortune 500 Company)

Min 3 years of Project Management experience and close to 8 years of IT application development in Java.

Technical

- Hands on experience on Java, J2EE & Design Principles, Web Development Experience, understanding of modern MVCs for the web

- OOAD and UML

- Ability to provide technical guidance to team members

- Good knowledge of estimation techniques

- Exposure to Cloud & microservice will be advantage

- Experience in leading cross technology projects involving Mainframe and Distributed/J2EE technologies will be an advantage

Primarily responsible for Projects Delivery & Management within Time, Budget and Quality Standards defined by Company. Should have performed Technical hands-on in past.

Essential Functions :

Delivery Management :

1. Planning and estimation, scheduling, task allocation, monitoring & control, reviews

2. Provide domain and technical leadership, Knowledge Management

3. Relationship Management and Partner Satisfaction

Process improvement & adherence :

4. Establish and continually improve project management and execution processes including Risk Management, communication,, defect management & prevention

5. Status reporting, metrics generation & analysis

People Management :

6. Staffing, onboarding, Skill building, Back-up Planning

7. Employee Satisfaction

8. Mentoring team members

9. Handling appraisals and feedback

Qualifications :

Must have :

Education : Graduate - Bachelor's degree (any stream)

Skill Set :

1. Strong proficiency in Insurance, Asset Management and Financial services functional domain

2. Proficient level of competency in all areas of business analysis with a very strong usage of a broad range of business analysis Techniques in a variety of project contexts.

3. Knowledge expertise especially in Business liason and Product Owner role in Agile / SAFe methedology

4. Solution mindset and understanding of Industry (Insurance, FS) in depth

Other : Good inter personal skills, excellent communication and time management skills, Ability to drive the results and ownership.

- Understanding of system workflow, application workflow within the system, interfaces with other systems. High level understanding of business processes performed by system.
