Job Responsibilities :
- You will be working with a talented Agile team of developers to support the continuous delivery of software to support map product publication to our Open Location Platform.
- You will contribute to automated solutions that transform and enhance our map products with new content.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers to develop quality code and review the design/code.
- Analyze product requirements and design to develop efficient, reusable, reliable and scalable software with quality conformance.
- Collaborate with Lead and Principal engineers on architecture, design, code and configuration reviews.
- Contribute to the implementation, deployment, testing and documentation of features in support of the team's deliverables.
Requirements :
- You are someone who remains a learner throughout your career, willing to experiment and explore in a dynamic ecosystem, and whose enthusiasm for technology will propel our products forward.
- You're also someone who takes pride in your work and enjoys collaborating with teammates to find inspired solutions to complex problems.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience designing and developing Java/J2EE or Scala-based scalable and high-performance applications.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures and design concepts; ability to apply them where needed.
- Demonstrated experience in CI/CD such as working with Git/Gerrit, Jenkins Pipeline or Groovy DSL and build tools like Maven.
- Good Knowledge in distributed systems computing like AWS (S3, EMR, EC2) and Hadoop Framework.
