Your Responsibilites :
1. Build, develop and guide high-performing talent. Define a long term talent strategy cutting across technology. Provide supervision, mentoring and development opportunities for the team who report into you.
2. Help define Technical and process Roadmap and own the entire Operation support delivery end to end.
3. Work very closely with various business stakeholders to drive the execution of multiple business plans and technologies.
4. Improve, optimize and identify opportunities for efficient Support and development process
5. Handle budget planning, spend and tracking for your area of responsibility. The budget will be across headcount and 3rd party contractors.
6. Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
7. Drive changes in multiple areas spanning across domains.
8. Set, define and implement best practises and industry standards to constantly raise the quality bar operational support.
9. Focus on generating intellectual property assets on operational support models, tools and techniques implemented.
Your Qualifications :
- An Engineering Degree - B.E/B.Tech/MS/PhD in any stream - Computer Science preferred.
- 18+ years of relevant experience with below-mentioned skills :
1. Experience in leading/Heading operations/development teams for large customer base for complex and critical systems.
2. Knowledge of industry's legal rules and guidelines.
3. Knowledge of vendor legal contracts and vendor management skills.
4. Knowledge of transition and executed at least two transition projects and setting up a successful operations team.
5. In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service, etc)
6. Knowledge of procurement process, Managing budgets and financials.
7. Systems, software engineering and Architecture knowledge.
8. Knowledge and understanding in emerging technologies of Cloud, Distributed computing and big data.
9. ITSM knowledge and industry best practices.
10. Strong Development background preferable in Java/J2EE development track record.
13. A good understanding of CS Fundamentals, Data Structures, Algorithms and Problem Solving.
14. Understand the product and project management space with Agile methodologies.
15. Experience across the product development SDLC.
