VP - Full Stack Software Development - Java (14-19 yrs) (Edge in Asia Recruitment Private Limited)

Our client is one of the World's largest financial institutions serving individual consumers, small and middle-market businesses, and large corporations with a full range of Banking, Investing, Asset Management and other financial and Risk Management products and services.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Partnering with the Custody FX Product Owner and business units to understand functional and data requirements for multiple business processes.

- Interfacing with senior business stakeholders for driving complex programs, including leading requirements strategy, direction, scope and prioritization.

- To define multi-year timelines for program/project implementation and leading the implementation of key initiatives identified as part of the program

- Internal and external senior stakeholder engagement; articulate and able to represent firm and the Middle Office effectively.

- To lead a global team, working with a number of groups including the front office, structuring, middle office, projects, other operations groups and technology.

- To design and develop multiple software solutions and frameworks using technologies

- To involve in complete software delivery processes & risk controls (including CI-CD TDD, regression testing, deployment, DevOps) Micro-service-oriented solutions and web development.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- 14+ years- experience with application development and design

- 5-7 years of relevant experience within the Investment Banking Technology & knowledge of financial products.

- Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical field with preferred focus on Computer Science or Information Systems

- Expert level knowledge of J2EE Application building Restful services using Spring MVC and Spring boot.

- Experience with the latest and greatest web standards, including HTML5 and CSS3.

- Experience in JavaScript frameworks such as Angular 2 or React JS and Node JS and Bootstrap

- Experience with acceptance testing tools like FitNesse or Cucumber, UI automated testing.

- Expertise in JDK 8, Cloud; Maven; React, Angular, Spring; Hibernate UNIX ( Solaris / Linux), Apache Tomcat, Messaging (MQ Series, JMS), Kafka, Cache: Gemfire, Hazelcast Cloud : Kubernetes, Docker
