The Job

As a professional in a Lead Engineering profile, you would be expected to have strong hands on design and architectural capabilities and you will be responsible for :

- Driving continuous process improvement and supporting software development deliveries.

- Building teams and planning BCP across quality software development & Quality Assurance deliveries from our global technology center.

- Handling critical product development roles on platforms with high scale transactions.

- Identifying optimal near-shore; off-shore capability splits for engineering teams.

- Being part of Global Technology Center's leadership team and involving yourself in devising & implementing strategic plans, policies, and processes.

- Owning team's talent management activities right from hiring, on boarding, performance reviewing and off-boarding resources.

The Profile :

- You possess a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline and have 10 -15 years' experience working in a related profile.

- You are a senior professional with hands-on technology experience within product development using full stack Java & AWS Cloud technologies.

- You have a minimum of 10 years' hands-on experience in Java / J2EE development, with at least 5 years in managing technical Software Engineering teams (JAVA/J2EE and Cloud Tech Stack), ideally in product companies.

- Experience working with modern development & integration tool suites is a must.

- Good knowledge of Linux environment with an exposure to at least one DB e.g. Postgres, MySQL is required.

- You can manage stakeholders comfortably and have a good communication and articulation capability.

- You are a quick learner who understands business processes and has experience working in captive setups.

- You can deliver within tough timelines and can work well in fast paced environments.

- Candidates who think out-of-the-box and are strongly inclined towards innovation & scale will be ideal for this role.

- You have excellent team building and leadership skills.

- Experience working in a startup environment would be highly preferred.

- Experience in wireless/mobile/embedded devices/IoT/product development would be good to have.
