Job Description :
Building Enterprise SAAS products: The candidate needs the ability to conceptualize a product from strategy to deployment. His/her experience in designing and developing products that are scalable, reliable, and a joy to use. The candidate will be a part of building next-generation hotel distribution technology that spans multiple products and require complex integrations.
Technology Stack Required :
- 6-8 years of experience in working with Java and Opensource related technologies
- Algorithms, Data Structures & Problem Solving
- J2EE - Hibernate/ORM, JDBC, JMS, etc. with Tomcat, Jetty or other popular containers
- Experience in developing easy to use, high-performance REST-based web APIs
- Experience in writing robust, efficient SDKs for server-side components
- Experience in writing software adapters to integrate RateGain products with external party products
- Hands-on experience with messaging services like JMS, RabbitMQ, Kafka
- Experience with NoSQL databases like Hbase, Cassandra, MongoDB
- Complete ownership of the products - Architect/Design, Build, Deploy and Production support
Success Indicators:
- Experience in building products from scratch
- Understanding the entire Software Development Lifecycle of a B2B/B2C product
- Ability to analyze and solve complex issues and technical challenges
- Experience in all aspects of development - Front end, back end, data aspects of engineering
- Ability to architect complex systems as well as hands-on development
- Up to date with the latest technologies
- Experience with cloud, on-prem and hybrid infrastructure deployments
Qualification :
- Undergrad in Computer Engineering / Computer Science
- 6 - 8 years of experience in the software industry
- 2 - 3 years of the technical managerial role in the software industry
- Exceptional project management and organization skills
- Proven experience in setting up quality standards for enterprise applications
- Capable of liaising with DevOps, Infrastructure and other internal teams to meet the project requirements of timing, performance, monitoring, testability and scalability
