Technical Project Manager - Java/J2EE Framework (10-14 yrs) (Infomind I)

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage the project team in the development of new software, web applications, and informatics solutions.

- Lead the continued support for existing applications and applications currently in development.

- Oversee implementation and infrastructure initiatives, software updates.

- Provide thought leadership in technology direction, best practices in development, and coding enterprise-class solutions.

- Responsible for overseeing training, the performance of the software development team.

- Grow and lead a best-in-class development organization by supporting an open and highly collaborative work environment that fosters high engagement, performance, and commitment among all members of the technology team.

- Tracking and Monitoring project progress and work efforts daily, and report project status to senior management and other stakeholders.

- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to develop work/change orders when needed due to changes in scope, schedules, and dependencies.

- Communicate clearly with management, customers, sales, and developers to ensure business requirements are translated accurately for implementation.

- Work across multiple time zones.

- Conducting pre-kick-off and kick-off meetings to establish and communicate project plans, milestones, etc

- Create/Maintain Release Plan along with Product Team and Stakeholders

- Review allocations, team members workload and coordinate with other managers to create detailed project work plans with estimated scope of work

Educational Qualification : B. Tech /M. Tech/ MS in Computer Science/Engineering/Applications

Technical/Functional Skills :

- Experience with large scale software development and a good understanding of different software architecting, design and development methodologies

- Experience in multiple backend languages (Java, Python, C++) and popular frameworks (Django, Flask, Spring, JSF, GWT and Javascript frameworks including React, Angular, Node.js)

- Experience with Databases (MySql, PostgresSQL, MongoDB), Webservers (Apache) and UI/UX Design elements

- Good understanding of Continuous Improvement/Continuous Development pipelines

- Good Understanding of cloud services models (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS)

Experience : 

- 10-12 years of industry experience in software product development and project management.

- 3 to 7 years of hands-on web application development utilizing the J2EE Java framework, Databases, Middleware (Soap/Xml/Messaging/RESTful services).
