Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Design and develop large, complex Java/J2EE based applications with RESTful APIs and Microservice architecture.
2. Take initiative, own and drive E2E architecture and design of critical components of product/application.
3. Expected to work with development and support team members across different teams including the vendor.
4. Partner with BAs and other cross-functional teams to understand project scope and deliverables.
5. Mentor and support team member for resolution of application dev & testing.
6. Partner with QA teams for unit and integration testing of the deliverables.
7. Provide regular updates regarding status or progress made to managers and stakeholders.
8. Adhere to SDLC processes
9. Deliver high-quality change within the deadlines.
10. Strong problem solving and analytical skills and good written and verbal communication skills.
11. Willing to learn new technologies/tools as required, in order to effectively deliver output.
12. 2-3 years of managing the mid-size teams and stakeholders at different levels including sr. management level.
Requires Knowledge :
1. Experience in multiple implementations of payment systems like RTGS, NEFT, etc over different channels like mobile, web, etc. Experience in the implementation of automation tools like ERP will be an advantage.
2. Proven knowledge of successful design, architecture and development of enterprise-level, highly scalable and highly available systems with a specific emphasis on distributed Systems architecture. Promote API first approach.
3. Should have implemented high volume, performance-driven, resilient and robust Payment Application Platforms based on international standards like ISO20022 and Fraud Risk Application Platform
4. Technically strong in Core Java and J2EE Technologies and Handson on need basis.
5. Good understanding of Spring Integration, Spring Batch, Java Persistence API, Message Broker, Message Oriented System. Knowledge of networking protocols like - https, HTTP, TCP with required TLS securities
6. Good knowledge of Architecture and Design principles and their application. Good understanding of OOPS concepts.
7. Strong database knowledge of anyone database (preferably MySQL or Oracle)
8. Good understanding of REST / SOAP web Services.
9. Well versed with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Bitbucket/Git, etc.
10. SDK & API knowledge - Security, Scalability, Micro-services, Gateways, Cloud, REST, SOAP
11. API and Contract Testing using REST Assured/Postman/Swagger/SOAP UI + Groovy/Spring Cloud Contract
12. Understanding of Mobile App technologies concepts - native iOS and/or Android development, cross-platform, wrappers
13. Understanding of various data analytics tools and technologies would be an advantage.
