TEOCO - Delivery Engineer - Linux/Windows System Administration (8-12 yrs) (AIRCOM International (A TEOCO Company))

Job Description:

- Work with clients and internal customers to perform software deployments

- Obtain, install, and configure third party software components

- Set up software development, test, and production environments

- Occasional Linux / Windows administration

- Troubleshoot build and deployment problems

- Coordinate contents of software patches and builds with developers, testers, and project management

- Maintain existing scripts for building and deploying J2EE, .NET, VB6, and other application components

- Produce software build/release notes

- Smoke test software builds

- Able to write small scripts in ANT, UNIX Shell that perform routine maintenance activities

Required Candidate profile:

- Bachelor's degree (concentration in Computer Science or related discipline preferable)

- 8 years of technical support experience working with software systems, troubleshooting problems

- 8 years Software Development Life Cycle experience

- 8 years Linux and Windows Systems Administration experience

- Java, J2EE, VB, .NET, Oracle experience a plus

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Attention to detail

- Knowledge of database - basic SQL is a plus, knowledge of networking concepts is a plus
