Role Specifics :

- To work with an energetic teams that strives to produce high quality scalable software and teams that are highly motivated to up the game every quarter.

- To work on drive projects that focus on building a near-realtime data solution for a large scale payments platform.

- To interact with the client on a daily basis and an opportunity to explore the Payments domain, understand the problem directly from the client and participate in the brainstorming sessions.

- To understand the relevance and applicability of explore various niche technologies in the Data Engineering space like Spark Streaming, Kafka, HBase, Hadoop Ecosystem, Java/J2EE, Google Cloud Platform.

- To gain experience in building hybrid (On-prem and Cloud) data solutions.

Must Have Skills :

- Coordinate with clients, brainstorm on the requirements and conclude on scope.

- Project planning

- Coordinating staff and internal resources

- Managing project progress and adapt work as required. Ensuring projects meet deadlines

- Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders

- Designing and signing off on contracts

- Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation. Participating in tender process i.e. design, submission and review

- Designing risk mitigation plan

- Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff

- Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary

- Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects

- Managing large and diverse teams

Good To Have :

High level understanding of :

- Java

- Spark

- Hadoop Ecosystem

- Design Patterns and Clean Code Principles

- Kafka or any equivalent technology

- Cloud Platform experience (GCP preferably)

- Python
