Tech Search Lead - Java/J2EE Frameworks (5-15 yrs) (Nextbee)

Tech Stack :

- Total 5+ years of experience in Elastic Search with lucene, Solr or Sphinx development Skill Sets

- In-depth understanding and working of ELK Stack (Elastic Search / Logstash / Kibana) and along with java, Spring, Boot, hibernate 3 years in Core JAVA & J2EE

- The ideal candidate must have experience in enterprise application design, system performance and scalability 5-year experience in web services, distributed systems, and highly available and scalable applications.

- Strong object-oriented programming skills in Java Very good knowledge of Core Java and J2EE and should have worked on high availability, low latency platforms.

- Ability to question status quo and identify bad design/code patterns which can impact performance and maintainability of the code.

- Excellent understanding of system design and design patterns. Previous experience with the Agile methodology. Experience in developing robust RESTful services is desirable.

- Have strong experience in the Spring framework.

- Good experience in SQL/MySQL with RDBMS or DBMS, ideally should have good database, hibernate, some machine learning but we focused on java and search

Candidates with experience in ecommerce / online retail - Should be comfortable in dealing with senior leadership (internal & external) - Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain ideas very clearly. - Self- motivated and flexible, with an ability to work independently.

- Hands-on experience in Information Retrieval, Search Ranking, Search Relevance, Machine Learning or statistical models used in linguistic processing, such as Hidden Markov Models and Conditional Random Fields

- Familiar with classical statistics and time series analysis

- Exposure to diverse use cases - structured & unstructured search, enrichment, aggregation, faceting, custom scoring, de-compounding, percolation Must have the capability to fine-tune queries for performance

- Architect and build the next generation of Search features and infrastructure

- Understand, measure, and debug ranking quality

- Improve the quality of our search results and conversion rate

- Apply Information Retrieval and Machine Learning techniques to retrieve relevant results and provide optimal rankings and implement scoring features.

- Help us tackle new challenges, like discovery and personalization

Shifts : Day shift - should be flexible for the night as well if Required.

Working & Requirements : Need to have your own PC/Laptop with a Broadband connection (internet).
