Job Description - Solution Architect (Java/J2EE Programming)

Location : Mumbai

Experience : 8-12 Years

Our client is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join their highly skilled team of Senior Developers within NLP Automation & Machine Learning Technology Group and help them continue to build their Cognitive Automation product. The role is not just about software development, it is also about the design and architecture of their proprietary product and its implementation across the finest financial firms globally.

As a Lead :

- Does due diligence as far as analysis and design of any projects they undertake.

- Owns technological solutions to implement designs made for our client's customers, including - Solution designing.

Owns solutions to support our client's business strategy and service delivery, including :

- Security, both internal and on customer projects.

- Reporting, internal team and to customers.

- Creates and implements short and long-term strategy in terms of technological growth.

- Leads the implementation and support of technological solutions.

- Works with other leaders to deliver services within their function.

- Ensures the team follows processes and proposes process improvements where necessary.

- Participates in creating new products and services where technology is concerned.

- Contributing to Customer Relationships and Customer Success.

Required Qualifications :

- Graduate or Post Graduate in computers or relevant fields.

- 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE programming.

- Good written and verbal English.

- Experience leading a team technically.

Required Skills :

- Hands on experience on Java/J2EE programming.

- Providing technical design or approach for a business problem.

- Experience with web technologies like Servlets, Spring and Struts.

- Experience managing teams and deliveries.

- Experience using latest frameworks like Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Rest.

- Experience with Test Driven Development.

- Experience with SQL on any of the RDBMS - Oracle, PostgreSQL, My SQL, SQL Server.

- Experience with any of the ORM frameworks - Hibernate/iBatis, JDBC, JPA.

- Experience with Web Services development - SOAP, REST.

- Exposure to JMS - IBM MQ or Active MQ is good to have.

- Exposure to performance testing using JMeter is good to have.

- Use of code repository tools like SVN, GIT.

- Exposure to any of the build and deployment tools - ant, gradle, maven.

- Understanding coding practices, code quality and code coverage.

- Experience with Agile practices.

- Good team player and coordination skills.
