Klausit - Business Analyst - IT Project Delivery (4-7 yrs) (Klausit)

- Accountable for on time and quality delivery of the requirements and functional specifications

- Work with business users and other key stakeholders to enlist and prioritize feature list for each release

- Assist in project planning and estimation, assign timelines for the tasks and ensure timely delivery of the project

- Communicate the business requirements effectively to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders

- Conduct and coordinate requirements review meeting and work closely with the team to clarify any missing requirements definition and ensure that blockers are cleared on daily basis

- Play a key role in validating test cases before integration/system testing and ensure the test cases are aligned with the requirements

- Collaborating with technical lead and business users, define the UAT acceptance criteria through defect prioritization

- Involve in UAT planning and scheduling and coordinate User Acceptance testing of the applications/system

- Monitor and evaluate the project performance and recommend any new opportunities of improving the processes

- Integrate and deploy automated reporting systems to attain visibility and transparency on the project to enhance the decision-making process

- Assist in short and long-term capacity planning of tools/resources and optimize recruitment costs by developing staffing models to evaluate workforce requirements

- Responsible for running workshops and overseeing training programs or even participating in them if necessary

- Collaborate with the technical team, assess/evaluate the emerging technologies and its impact on the project and business

Qualifications, Experience and Competency Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Supply Chain or a related field

Experience Essential:

- Minimum 4 years of professional experience

- Proven track record of 3+ years in IT business analysis and application support

- Working experience in Mainframe z/OS, Cobol, IMS, CICS and DB2

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills with ability to communicate in written and verbal form to all levels of management as well as technical and non-technical business partners

- Experience with software development concepts including requirements management, test case management, version control, and Agile development practices

- Proven problem solving abilities for complex tool support challenges

- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple concurrent projects

- Self-motivated, detail oriented, and organized

- Able to work in a fast paced/high energy team setting

- Working Experience in Mainframe Cobol and Java/J2EE

Desirable:

- Working experience in Java/J2EE application development

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

- Familiar with the automotive supply chain process

- Specific Skill Requirement Knowledge of Mainframe - Cobol, IMS, CICS, DB2 etc., Java and J2EE applications, MS tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Travel Requirements :

- Time Availability Crossover with Eastern time zone; ideally able to support within EST timezone

- Reason for Time Availability if N.A. hours required
