CloudOps/DevOps Analyst - AWS/Python/CI/CD (5-10 yrs) (People Powered Solutions)

We are looking for Cloudops/Devops Analyst for one of our IT client.

Role : CloudOps Analyst

Exp : 6 - 8 Years

Location : Andheri East- Sakinaka

This role will be on payroll of our company i.e. People-Powered Solution and you will be working for our client

Job Description :

- Handle the daily Cloud Operations of Client's clients. This is a key role under Managed Services Group working in a 24x7 environment. 

- The ideal candidate should have worked-on/supported multi-tier enterprise-wide J2EE applications leveraging CloudOps, DevOps & SRE principles. 

- The ideal individual will apply proven communication, automation, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities :

- Work on creating, running and maintaining the application support platform, including alert standardization

- Drive capacity and availability management initiative

- Assist in deployment automation that eventually leads to CI/CD

- Perform mission-critical activities like disaster recovery, audits/review, incident reviews, etc.

- Follow-up and coordinate with various internal teams and customers

- Mentor and help the team to grow in DevOps, CloudOps& SRE principle

- Ensuring the daily status and follow-up w.r.t. to support issues to avoid any slippages

Required Technical Knowledge/Skills :

- Minimum of 6 years of experience working in BFSI or IT product firms supporting Cloud Infra

- Overall 3-4 years- experience in supporting large enterprise-wide J2EE applications

- Hands-on with DevOps &CloudOps stack and tooling, including automation

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, logical skills and a strong team player

- Interpersonal Skills

- Strong Organizational and Communication skills

- Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.

a) Cloud methodologies :

- Proficient in SaaS, PaaS, Agile, AWS services

- Experience with AWS Architecture, Maintenance, and automation of auto-scaling

- Programming language like Python

- Strong experience on DevOps stack including orchestration tools like Chef, CI/CD/CM server like Jenkins/Bamboo, automation tools like Ansible/Puppet/Chef, Collaboration tools like Jira, Repo like Github

- Proficiency in docker containers

- Good hold on continuous monitoring tools like Nagios, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Sumologic, ELK, etc.

- Basic understanding of Big Data (Hadoop and HBase etc.).

b) Unix/Linux platform :

- Advance level of understanding and troubleshooting skills including file/disk/process/network management

- Hands-on experience of shell scripting for automations purposes.

c) Oracle

- Good understanding datamodel along with 2nd / 3rd normalize form

- Hands-on experience in interpreting and writing SQL queries

- Good understanding of performance issues related points e.g. query optimization/execution plan/AWR/ASH reports

Education/Certification/Experience :

- Bachelor Degree in computers is preferred, from a recognized university

- Relevant DevOps Certification (Desired)

- ITIL/Process Understanding (Desired)

- Work Timings : 10am to 7pm IST, Mon-Fri. It can vary based on need.

Note :

- As per the current Covid& Lockdown situation, candidate will have to work from home for a while.

- He / She should have his personal laptop or desktop.
